Having grown up in a minister's family, this will be the strangest Easter of my 75 years - no church, no family gathering, no Easter egg hunt (at least in person.) Alternatives have been developed for online worship and family gatherings. But, what about our annual family Easter egg hunt? We have 6 grandchildren under the age of 8! So, we thought, why not have an Easter egg hunt via FaceTime or Zoom? My wife and I hide Easter eggs around our house or yard (a specific color for each grandchild.) Then, on Easter morning, when everyone is logged on, we begin our hunt. As the kids discover Easter eggs (on the screen) we place them in the appropriate child's basket. Why not? This will be an Easter our family remembers for years to come!
Blessings and have a safe holiday!
