Directions

LOCATION

While the Center is an independent organization open to people of all faiths, most in-person events and programs take place at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Chestnut Hill, in the northwest suburbs of Philadelphia. It is located between Bethlehem Pike and Chestnut Hill Avenue, just east of Germantown Avenue (see the map below.) The street address is:

BY CAR

You may reach St. Paul's Church by following your GPS to the address above. The main sanctuary entrance is located on the church driveway which begins on Bethlehem Pike and runs (one way) through the campus to Chestnut Hill Avenue. The Parish Hall entrance is closest to Chestnut Hill Avenue.

PARKING

In addition to street parking on Bethlehem Pike and Chestnut Hill Avenue, some parking is available along the church driveway. On weekends, you are also free to park in the Penn Medicine lot, on the other side of Chestnut Hill Avenue. However, be careful NOT to park in the Catholic church lot or those of businesses in the area.

BY TRAIN (REGIONAL RAIL)

The SEPTA R7 and R8 Regional Rail lines both terminate in Chestnut Hill about one block from the church. From the R-7 (Chestnut Hill East) walk across Bethlehem Pike and 1/2 block on Chestnut Hill Avenue to the church on the LEFT. From the R-8 (Chestnut Hill West) turn left onto Germantown Avenue to the light at Bethlehem Pike. Turn right onto Bethlehem Pike 1/2 block to the church driveway on the LEFT.

BY BUS

The #23 SEPTA bus ends 1/2 block from St. Paul’s. Walk north on Bethlehem Pike to the St. Paul’s driveway on the LEFT. The #23 SEPTA bus runs from Germantown; the #77 from Jenkintown; the #’s 94 and 134 from Ambler and Fort Washington; and the L Bus from Plymouth Meeting – all stop within a block of Saint Paul’s.
