America’s Mystic Poet * Come Be Inspired

  • St. Paul's Episcopal Church 22 East Chestnut Hill Avenue Philadelphia, PA, 19118 United States (map)

WELCOME BACK “IN PERSON” - Presentation by Chelan Harkin on mysticism, the mess of being human, and the courageous and vulnerable journey of authentic living (Attend in-person or online)

Chelan is a poet, a mom and an author of two books: Susceptible to Light and Let Us Dance! Her poetry is regularly compared to modern-day poets such at Mary Oliver and Wendell Berry, as well as the great mystical poets, Rumi, Hafiz and Rilke. She reaches people in a way that helps them reconnect with the energy of inspired essence, a force that lives within each of us and is often hidden, but never lost.

Chelan lives with her husband and two small children in the Columbia Gorge, a geographically spectacular region of Washington State. She could not be more thrilled to be coming to Philadelphia, one of her favorite cities. She is looking forward to being with old friends and new, while sharing her personal and spiritual stories and connecting in a way that will 'yank the corks' on our effervescent light! Chelan will also be selling and signing copies of her two books.
