The Divine Language of Coincidence

A CONVERSATION WITH SOPHIA DEMAS

Architect, business woman, therapist and student of mysticism, Sophia Demas, might be viewed as a renaissance woman today. She did not intend to get married, have children or write a book. However, after enjoying three diverse careers, the Universe had other plans. Her impressive resume spans a decade in architecture that included working with visionary Buckminster Fuller, running a couture fashion business, and returning to school at age 50 for a master's degree and private practice as a mental health therapist.

Recounting stories from her book, The Divine Language of Coincidence: How Miracles Transformed My Life After I Began Paying Attention, Sophia takes a penetrating look at the extraordinary life events which at first seemed to be a series of coincidences. Upon further consideration, however, she realized how they became building blocks of the miraculous. Sophia also shares a firsthand account of a mystical event experienced by her friend Mother Aemiliane, abbess of St. Nina's Monastery in Maryland, and other stories from her soon-to-be-published second book, Consciousness Beyond Death: True Stories of Signs, Messages, and Timing. Writing books was never on Sophia’s radar, until she realized that miracles are not only possible, but far more common than we realize.

You may attend either IN PERSON (at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church) or ONLINE (via Zoom Webinar) on September 18 at 2:00 pm ET.
